Here are some of my favorite places. I have received outstanding service and fair prices from them in the past. We should support the good ones.
Listed alphabetically.
B&H Photo. Good service and fair prices
Buck and Ike. Bruce Barlow’s other life. Follow the links to YouTube.com, and buy the guys a bale!
Badger Graphics. Nice folks, good stuff, good serice.
Fine Focus Workshops. Richard Ritter’s and Bruce Barlow’s workshops in southern Vermont and New Hampshire.
Large Format Forum. The best of the available groups.
Lenswork. Subscribe. I have subcribed to LensWork Extended, too. I’m glad I did.
Light Impressions. Sign up as a business account and get a discount. I like their mat board.
Michael A. Smith and Paula Chamlee. Great people, great workshop. They have introduced Lodima silver chloride paper as a replacement for Kodak Azo. If you contact print big negatives, you owe yourself a box. We all owe them our support in this risky, expensive venture.
Mid-West Photo Exchange. Good service and fair prices. Impeccable reputation.
Richard Ritter. A good friend, and the best there is for camera repair, restoration, design, and manufacture. Please understand that I have a strong bias. I also adore Alice, my 8x10 camera.
