DVD, 50 minutes.
The Richard Ritter Ultra-Large Format Camera uses space-age carbon fiber and traditional materials to produce a light-weight package that can be made in formats from 11x14 to 7x17 to 12x20 to 20x24 and more.
Formats are interchangeable in the field in minutes. The back can be rotated to accommodate vertical photographs without the use of a second tripod.
Richard Ritter has used sophisticated engineering and materials to design and build the camera. Carbon fiber, aircraft aluminum, round rods, and Delrin fittings are all designed to lighten weight while increasing strength and stability in the field.
Included with all new ULF cameras, this 50-minute DVD video is also useful as a low-cost introduction to Ultra-Large format. It is also a good introduction to the Richard Ritter 8x10 camera, which shares many of the design and engineering elements.
